Burning Roses: A decadent tale of sex, drugs, rock n roll & magick by John West

Burning Roses by John West is an action-packed fantasy kept me awake late into the night as I got pulled into the the “magickal” and mystical world of intriguing characters.

I found myself wondering. What’s the hidden meaning behind the story? Are the characters real or do they exist in the minds of real characters? Should I interpret the story metaphorically or should I take it at a literal presentation of facts? As with any good story, there are many interpretations possible. You see what you want to see. Everything is possible, and as Bob Dylan famously said, “Chaos is a friend of mine.”

John West has given us a fascinating page-turner in “Burning Roses” which I enjoyed very much.
